A good table saw comes with a perfectly good miter gauge. But this Incra is perfectly great. It’s precise, versatile, infinitely adjustable and custom-fits to your miter gauge slot.
You’re probably familiar with the Incra name because of their fantastic dovetail and box-joint-making jigs, but they’ve got a wide product line all with precision at the top of the list.
An ingenious flip-stop locks down at any point along the fence for repeatable cuts, and it flips out of the way without disturbing your placement if you have other cuts to make as well. The fence actually telescopes out, from a closed length of 18 inches to a fully extended 30 inches for superior stock stability. The miter gauge itself has 41 detents in 5-degree increments across the entire 180 degrees, with special stops at 22-1/2 and 67-1/2 degrees, all gauged by angle indexing teeth for unparalleled accuracy. In addition, you can make 1/10th-degree adjustments with the stainless steel vernier cursor.
The thing we like best about this jig is its ability to custom fit to your miter gauge groove, courtesy of six disks along the length of the slot bar. With a turn of an allen wrench, each one expands or contracts individually to get you the absolute best fit on your table, leaving you with zero play between bar and channel and zero chance for error. Incra’s also designed a neat top-mounted tab that fits a T-slot and removes in a few second for plain channels, letting you move the jig from your T-slotted table saw to other tools with a standard groove, such as a router table.

Got this for Christmas and am amazed at it. The quality is outstanding. It is a snap to sit up and use. Right after I put it on my saw I reached over to the scrap pile and got a flat piece of molding that was 1X1/4 inches. I put the stop down and cut a 6 sided figure within a couple of minutes. Laid it out and it fit perfectly and I mean perfect. Did I mention that I had also gotten a miter express. These two togather tools made the entire operation right on and safe. I bought this about a month ago and have come to love using it in the shop. It's just the right size to make it very handy. Just grab it and go to work. I was easy to set up and has be very accurate.

Delivery was on time and in perfect condition. My big problem with my (new General 220) table saw was the sloppy Miter Gage. The saw is beautiful, but I could never get a consistently square cut. I finally broke down and bought the Incra 1000 SE. I have never been sorry for one second. As soon as I had the slider adjusters set so there was no slop and squared the rig to the blade, I get perfect, dead on, square cuts every time. Time to stop fiddling around. I ordered the Incra Miter1000SE and have to say its quality of construction was obvious as soon as I opened the box. The instructions were very clear and the setup was simple. I am as excited about this new tool as any other in my shop! The precision is excellent and repeatability first rate. I would recommend this tool to anyone serious about quality results in a home shop.

This is a great product and upgrade to my shop. I haven't run it through all the paces yet as I've been building my shop instead of "stuff." Very versatile with a lot of little gadgets. From what I've seen you cannot go wrong with this. I particularly like the ability to do repetitive cuts with the stop attachment.
