We had a simple kit that lasted nearly 4 years of bi-monthly haircuts. I didn't have any complaints until we tried this one! Remarkable! It did not overheat, which was a concern when cutting our toddler's hair & it doesn't take repeated attempts to get the hair off.

In the military I had a set, you know, avoid the long never ending lines at the barber shop. No buzz cuts, just a regular hair cut. I work from midnight till morning now that I'm retired; too tired to go out and get my hair cut. I wash and towel dry the old mop, bend over the toilet and sheer off the hair. This is a wonderful clipper set the blades are sharp and the motor is not at all loud, as described by another reviewer. I was a bit trouble by that review, but I am very glad I now purchased the clip-n-trim set. I have already performed 3 haircuts on my little ones and will be on my second round soon. In other words I have already passed the pays-for-itself point and now on the money saving round.
